For the very first time in one (1) year and six months of the PBAT Administraton, I confidently say for free that the tax bill is the best and fairest document that has been proposed by the Executive through the Taiwo Oyedele led committee. As much as I respect and admire Sen. Alli Ndume, Respectfully sir to hell with you and your handlers. The Tax bill should inspire and trigger the creative thinking of all State CEOs (Execitive Governors) to usher a regime of exploiting internal resources of each state for the benefit of its citizens. This is a wake-up call and the end of the feeding bottle economy where resources are taken from the Forcados and Niger-delta and embezzeled by some other non-productive states. I can bet that if a state like Zamfara is challanged, the erstwhile illegal and uncordinated Gold reserves would be properly exploited and revenues properly collected. Some states are not economic and logically viable to be called states. The tax reform bill is mostly welcome by me and my entire household.

Senator Alli Ndume and the his northern colleagues also need to be educated that the increase in FAAC since May 2023 is not as a result of the removal of subsidy, but as result of a proper and coordinated tax collection regime. If well managed, it could be a breakthrough for the country.
