There is another trial that “Making the Case” has been following closely.
Today, jurors in the trial of the three men accused of killing Ahmaud Arbery heard from people who lived in the neighborhood where it all happened. Outside the courthouse at a rally and prayer vigil, Rev. Al Sharpton called Arbery’s death a 21st century lynching.
CK Hoffler, CEO of the CK Hoffler Firm in Atlanta, Georgia, and former prosecutor Titus Nichols join Yodit Tewolde on “Making the Case” to discuss today’s testimony.
All this and more on “Making the Case.”

Ok & to defend not theirs, but someone else's untampered property. The 2 trials this week show a gross suspicious, cowardice mindset manifesting in: Not minding your own business, Lawlessness in action & Tryna be a hero where none is required syndrome both leading to unnecessary loss of life. #AmerikkkasEverlastingPandemic

The real question is why was Ahmaud Abrey the only one who got all of the attention from the neighbors of that particular house . There were other people , even white people , and white kids . Ahmaud Abrey did not try to hide his presence of entering or exiting the property nor did he pick up or take anything from the house that was under construction . The saddest part of Ahmaud Abrey being killed is that his curiosity and the color of his skin was all that was needed for the Killer ( Travis McMichael's ) to justify the reason why he killed Ahmaud Abrey .

The Primary Thing The Prosecution MUST DO, Is To Steer The Defense Away From The "Ahmaud Was A Thief" Mode, So He Deserved To Be Murdered.. Because It's Clear That's What The Defense Is Pushing And Hoping For.. They MUST Get Back To The Fact That Ahmaud Was Innocent, And Was Murdered Due To The Three White Males Speculations And Assumptions.. And? For No Other Reason.. Also.. If "Race" Was A Factor? That Also MUST BE Bought Up In Court.. Like Gregory McMichael's License Plate For Example... Jus Sayin.. Yep...

So people can think someone has committed a crime chase them down and shoot them. What happend to being innocent until proven guilty by a court of law. If they are not found guilty of first degree murder then the signal will be sent out that you can kill anyone you suspect of a crime if they resist your attempt to apprehend them. I wonder how this will work out.

The smallest items worth stealing are tools and drills, but those are never left on site and too big to stuff in your pocket. Most expensive things are the heavy equipment like lifts. Not sure how these idiots were expecting him to steal and carry one of those.

The lady said Don’t be racist, he is probably working on the house. What is so obvious to me is that the system of racism/housing discrimination is so pervasive, she knew that he is definitely not the owner. Many people like to say that Arbery was killed because he looked in a unfinished house, but Arbery was killed because some white people don’t want black people to access their neighborhoods. Some white people use guns and others use HOA fees. The murder of Arbery was one of the most disgusting things that I have seen in my life, but we need to stop telling this ‘America is post racial because of Obama” lie. Not blaming Arbery, but I am wondering are we still having the “You know those white folks don’t want you over there” conversations with our southern black children. I grew up in Mobile and there is no way in hell I would run through white neighborhoods in West Mobile.

I think the panel got this wrong. These witnesses definitely don’t help the prosecution. They describe the owner as being concerned about someone matching Arbery’s description in the house and show that other neighbors had a similar reaction of even grabbing their gun and checking him out. I suspect the prosecution called these witnesses because they knew the defense would if they didn’t and so they wanted to have more control.

I think several of the neighbors were keeping in touch, passing around videos (like those from Larry English). They had sort of an unofficial neighborhood watch. They sort of looked up to Gregory, hey he had law enforcement connections. (retired). But little by little, I think some of them relaxed. Like Larry English himself. Also Matt Albenze. Diego Perez was at work, but he kept in touch with Gregory McMichael. It was a tragedy waiting to happen, grabbing their guns and jumping in their truck. Travis jumps out with his dad still in the back, hollering "Travis, Don't do anything. Don't shoot." Travis probably did not even hear his father. He was already in the middle of a fight over the gun. Ahmaud was yanking the gun, trying to disarm Travis. Both were in a fight for the gun. And then something that sounds even worse for Travis. While Ahmaud lays dying, according to Roddie, Travis mutters, "f-cking n-gger." Ahmaud was not committing whatever crimes they suspected him of. He was not "hauling ass" he was merely jogging.

Okay so the witness was on stand and testified that she seen this young man go into a home that was under construction but she stayed in her mind NOT TO BE RACIST? SO WAS SHE ACTUALLY BEING RACIST BECAUSE WHY WOULD SHE NEED TO SAY TO HERSELF NOT TO BE RACIST??! YOU WOULD NOT NEED TO SAY THAT TO YOURSELF UNLESS YOU WERE INTENTIONALLY BEING RACIST! THE JURY DID NOT FIND THAT STATEMENT DISTURBING!! OKAY BECAUSE I'M MORE THAN SURE SHE DID NOT ONLY DRIVE BY AND JUST SEEN THIS YOUNG BLACK MALE GO INTO THAT DWELLING SHE HAD SEEN OTHER INDIVIDUALS GOING TO THERE AS WELL SO WHY DID SHE MAKE THAT STATEMENT UNLESS SHE'S RACIST!! THE RACIST THOUGHT WAS WHY IS THIS BLACK MALE IN THIS HOME WHEN THERE ARE NO BLACK PEOPLE AROUND HERE AND WHY IS THIS BLACK MAN IN OUR NEIGHBORHOOD!! OH YES SHE WAS BEING RACIST BECAUSE SHE FELT THAT HE SHOULD HAVE BEEN IN THAT NEIGHBORHOOD! BUT MY QUESTION IS WHY SHE FELT THAT HE SHOULDN'T BE IN THAT NEIGHBORHOOD IF YOU SHE SAW NOTHING WRONG WITH ANY OTHER PERSON GOING IN BUT WHEN SHE SAW THIS BLACK MALE GO IN THERE SHE FELT THAT THAT WAS AN ISSUE!! A LOT OF THESE PEOPLE WATCH THIS GO ON A LOT OF THESE PEOPLE HAVE VIDEO CAMERAS A LOT OF THESE PEOPLE SAW THIS MAN BEING MURDERED AND FRANKLY THE POLICE AS WELL IS THAT ENTIRE NEIGHBORHOOD WAS RACIST! IF YOU WENT IN THE DWELLING THAT WAS UNDER CONSTRUCTION THAT IS NOT COMMITTING A CRIME BECAUSE MANY OF US DO IT WHEN WE SEE A PROPERTY THAT IS UNDER CONSTRUCTION WE HAVE A TENDENCY AS A HUMAN BEING TO GO AND LOOK BUT THAT'S NOT A CRIME HE DIDN'T STEAL ANYTHING!! AND FOR THE PEOPLE THAT ARE JUSTIFYING THESE TWO MEN OR THREE MEN CHASING HIM DOWN YOU'RE EVIL! IF THEY FELT THIS WAS A CRIME THAT HE COMMITTED THEY SHOULD HAVE CONTACTED THE POLICE IN THE FIRST PLACE! THE LEGAL SYSTEM GIVES TOO MANY WHITE PEOPLE THE FREEDOM TO FEEL THAT THEY CAN DO A CITIZEN ARREST ON MINORITIES AND THEY TRY TO HIDE AND JUSTIFY THEIR ACTIONS BECAUSE THEY FEEL THIS PERSON SHOULD NOT BE AND THEIR SO-CALLED COMFORT ZONE!!

He was a criminal. No one jogs 10 miles from home. He attacked a guy with a gun, grabbed the gun, and ended up killing himself.

Was Arbery a marathon runner? He was running like 9 miles away from his house? The defendants should not have chased him but he definitely wasn’t just out for a jog either…

Why lie? What for? Do you think that people are not watching or do not know the land there? Does it make you feel better about yourself? I don’t get it? It makes no sense? To just lie like that, it comes so easy to you! Huh? How could you turn 2 miles into 9 miles? You palm colored people really believe that you own the world and black people are not free as if we can’t go where we want! This country is only free for whites? Just say it! You will feel better! Just let it out! Why hide who you are?

So you shouldn't be 9 miles outside of your home??? Tell me, how far is it okay to be away from your house?

@@toyalashon1334 you can be a million miles from your home . I just don’t buy that he was this runner and that’s all he was doing . Especially, when they have videos and pictures of him there before. I’m not even saying he stole anything. I just don’t believe he was out for a jog.

I think he didn't see it as an emergency bcse he already knew there was nothing to steal bcse the owner told him. I'm pretty sure if there was a rash of burglaries the owner knew about it. He had a camera and obviously didn't feel the need to do more. This is just the racist mindset of many wp who see a blk person in their neighborhood and don't want them there. When I was young, our neighbor would harrass young black children who didn't live on our street. Telling them to go back home if they just came up w their bikes. Yet never complained all the noise the other Whyte neighbors who were young adults made. Why were they so overly concerned about the property when the owner definitely wasn't? Answer: They were mad bcse the neighbor didn't look at this BM w a sense of urgency like WS do. They saw a blk problem that needed taken care of.
