super helpful, installing mine this week; looking forward to your next video 🤭. You made me realize there was an H Trim piece which I was unaware of. My Costco package only came with Js so now I know I have to order those if I really want this to look good.

Nice clean work. I have a central vacuum in my garage, and I installed a sub panel on wood board on top of drywall. How would you suggest I modify this prior to install slat wall?

I’d either install the slat wall around it or buy their universal mount and slide a stud behind it to mount the vac on it. Installing around it might require you to buy additional trim pieces.

How did you hand your ego battery charger! Super interested in that.

Just used a standard hook that came with the proslat accessory bundle. The straight hook goes right into the back of the charger. For the double chargers. I just placed the entire charging setup inside a basket.

How did you cut the pieces? Circular saw? I'm talking about the narrow spots like next to the garage door

Yes. Circular saw. Just make sure you use a blade meant for plastic so you get a nice smooth edge.

Yes, don’t see why not. I would just question any shrinkage or expansion depending on the climate you’re in.

Is the Newage slatwall compatible with the Proslat slatwall? For example can you use the same attachments on either one interchangeably?

Good question. I’ve read online that Proslat accessories work exclusively with Proslat slatwall. Not sure if New Age accessories will work. Would love to know….

@@ChicagoGuestList Oh I asked because I thought you had the NewAge slatwall system under your cabinets, at 1:46 in the video. If you have any New Age attachments, can you see if they fit the Proslat slatwall?

@@speedbrake that’s just the slatwall backsplash that they sell with their cabinetry. The height of each slat is shorter compared to Proslat. Not sure if their regular slatwall is the same size as the backsplash. If so, no it would not work with Proslat. The ability to lock down the hooks with proslat is nice.

Thanks Patrick. Agreed, not cheap. I figure this helps protect the car from any damage when kids swing them open and it avoids any damage on the drywall. The ability to hang things off the ground is a plus.
