I am loving your info, very detailed. I am a super pegmatite nerd, and found one of my own. That sent be down a real rabbit hole, and I completely love what your are doing, because it feels like when I dig them myself. What you explain are the same thoughts in my head, except for my area. If your ever in the Southern California area, near Ridgecrest, let me know if you want to collab for our channels! Keep up the great work!

Bro I really appreciate your feedback. I vividly remember looking at geologic maps, finding mineralogy articles with captivating titles, and not being able to digest them because of their complexity. It is a part of my mission to make them approachable and digestible to anyone with this shared interest. This video (Part 2) alone was nearly five hours before I started editing it and there was dialogue throughout all of it. Your feedback is valued and helps guide what to cut and what to leave for future videos. Cheers mate

Fascinating hearing you explain it all at the end. Love what you said about plutons stacking on each other and how that produces concentrated areas of crystal pockets. Also nice cubes… that pic of the one that broke was other worldly

Thank youuu, that means so much to me to hear that the geologic processes could be followed through explanation and photos vs animations. Thanks for the love🙏🏼

Are you a geologist?

Currently, I am working on a geology degree at CU Boulder. I am fascinated by how such beautiful minerals form via Earth processes and feel inspired to share what I learn along the way. The deeper I dig into geology, the more mysteries I find; rocks and minerals for life.✨
