You guys are having fun but you need to know in NH its not legal to use a sluice or a shovel in the stream or on the banks. You are allowed to use your pan to scoop up material to pan. I live in western NH and go to vermont to pan less laws over there, Good luck.

This is true only in the WMNF. You can actually use up to a 4” suction dredge in NH with a permit, but hand sluices are allowed with no permit. Vermont is actually stricter, requiring a permit for hand sluices with no power equipment being allowed
