Even the Lord commanded that the Lord's Supper be done in remembrance of Him. Paul's team at Troas took the Lord's Supper, see Acts 20:7 (AMP). Christians don't take Passover meal because the Lord is our Passover Lamb. That's why killing of animal is no longer necessary for the Lord's Supper. Taking the Supper brings to remembrance the significance of the death of our Saviour Lord, just as Passover brings remembrance of the deliverance of Jews from Egyptian bondage. We cannot play down the significance of the Lord's Supper till He comes. The Lord commanded it. Thanks

I may agree with most of what the good man of God (Dr Damina) is preaching; away from prosperity gospel, but his interpretation of the significance of the eucharist or last supper (bread and wine) didn't go down well with me as a Catholic. This is because he is mixing it up with the begining of the physical church and the malpractices that led to the death of Ananias and Sapphira...... While most of the main stream churches preach the Cross most evangelical churches preach prosperity.
