Glenn, Sorry for your losses, I am really glad you got tested and found the cancer while it was still treatable and are now cured. Thanks for the great reminder video about getting check ups. I hope you have the time this year to relax and enjoy spending time with your family and fishing.

Glenn, first of all, I'm sorry for your loss. Being a retired oncology and hospice nurse I know what you have been through. I'm a 37-year survivor of lymphoma and working on 3 years of survival of stage 4 colon CA. You are doing extremely well after surgery and take your time to heal. I also wanted to tell you your videos have helped me a great deal with my new hobby of bass fishing again thank you and hang in there.

Sorry to hear of your rough year last year. Glad you're ok now. Just had a PSA work up last week. Doc says no prostrate problem for now. You're right. It's not a big deal and just took minutes in the office.

Glenn, I was one of those fans of yours that was aware of your absence of making new videos. I came to the realization that you must have had a life away from your duties of teaching us to be better fishermen. It saddens me greatly to hear of your year of tragedy, my sincere condolences on the loss of your mom and uncle. Having to deal with that and then having to deal with your own prostrate issues would be enough put anyone over the edge. I'm happy to hear that this is now behind you, I do know Keri's support was a big help during your whole year. I pray you and your family find peace and can now move forward to a better life.

I am sorry for the loss of your mother and your uncle and all that you went through! It definitely was a bad year for you and your family! You are right, faith in God and family are what is important. I am glad you are healed. Thanks for shareing this with everyone. Men and women need to get annual checkups for the things associated with them. I am glad you will be back and I have missed you.

Sorry to hear about your mom, I had my prostate removed in January this year at 62 years of age. I was really worried about it because I didn’t hurt and wasn’t sick it really played on my mind. Due to previous surgeries my prostate surgery lasted 7 1/2 hours. 9 days after surgery I fished a try tournament with no problems. I was real fortunate and had little to no said effect from the surgery. Thank the Good Lord!!!
@bassresource

Yep, same here. I didn't feel anything. If it weren't for the tests, I wouldn't have guessed I had cancer. My surgery was 5 hrs. Glad to hear yours went well and you're back at it again!

My deepest sympathies to you, man! My father had a very aggressive form and had the surgery, but along with the prostate itself they had to take the lymph nodes as well. He was older though, as you mentioned, so recovery was really rough. He was 76 at the time, so quite a bit older than you, but in excellent physical condition and it still took him a really long time to get back to "normal." At any rate, I say all that to say I totally get it. That's a LOT for anyone to have to deal with. Glad to see you're doing better!!
@bassresource
@bassresource Жыл бұрын
Yes, that is exactly what the surgery entails. They took 2 of my lymph nodes in addition to the prostate. Glad he's doing well.
