Ha ha ! You had me crackin up watching you install that ! Such an easy install made hard looking. By the way as I know no one has ever told you, but if you off road and yer vehicle is pristine, you ain't off roading. Not as bad as your dent there but the first time I took my brand new cherokee off road, I scratched up the whole right side from front to back on brush. Some buffed out but at least half was permanent. Ah well, had fun anyway.

@@JLLIFEOFFROAD I have the jl rubicon with the turbo engine. Its fun jeep. But as for good mpg. Its awful. I'm only getting 14.5 in town with only 35s. Metal numbers and winch and metal fenders. I knew the mpg would go down bit damn not that much. The weird thing is that I get 17mpg on the freeway loaded with gear and including a roof top tent. So I'm kinda over it. I'm having the dealership look at it. I think 🤔 something is wrong. But it drives great and is peppy. So I don't know. I think I might just buy the 4xe for my wife and switch all my parts on it then also buy a the new ram trx. Trade her car in and my current jeep in. She keeps stealing my jeep anyway 😂.

Update, my jeeps pcm had to be fixed. And they are replacing the steering box yaa me. Cj piny put a video out on the new ones to fix the steering issues. And the dealership verified what he says in it.

Another great vid, tip if you ever have to take it off and put it back on. The front nut plate things, use double sided tape to hold them in place. Works for a lot of things. luv ya, oh and we sure are missing Missy's joke corner. Take care and stay safe or at least be safe at it.

You can tell that's a West Coast vehicle, it's really clean underneath. You need to experience some of our Carolina red clay that has claimed many 4x4's. I just got the FUEL version of that ratchet and absolutely love it. It made changing my spark plugs and coils so much easier.

Planning on getting the fuel one as well... next one is gonna be one of the stubby impacts.. I hear great things about them.. My underside is clean because I pressure wash it... 😂 the only thing on the jeep I’ll keep clean. Nothing worse then having dirt and dry mud rain all over ur face, eyes and hair while wrenching....

Just got mine in, did you have issues with the weld nuts not lining up at all? I just dry fitted it all and the nuts don't line up and the brace has a 1" gap between it and the skid. Thoughts?

How are you liking the electric ratchet from Milwaukee? It was my first Milwaukee tool and since then got many more. I like the design of the skid. I’ve enjoyed the protection of the Metalcloak skid so far, but I don’t know if I’ll keep the rear axle with the issues some have had with the anti-slip/limited-slip rear axles. I’ll have to take a look at that company. Sorry to say I’d want to stay with Poison Spyder, but they have been taking their time. I knew I recognized the name of that company. LiteBrite(Kevin and Brit) did the prototype air system from them. I’d get the skid but just for the ARB 1gal air tank if it would be smart to have tank that far from the compressor(doing the under passenger seat install).

Skid looks good and as usual great video. Did you consider the Rancho Rear diff skid at all? Other than color, the Rancho skid looks very similar, mounts in a similar manner, but about $100 cheaper. They also have a skid that will fit Misty's Dana 30 front diff. I have no affiliation with Rancho. I only bring them up based on my own research. NVM stuff is great quality, but unfortunately always more $$.
