Ask an audiologist to mold your ears and make custom sized earplugs to fit exactly your ear canals. They are prefect in comfort, complete ear sealing and affordable hygiene. Well spent money for everyone!

I have a sound meter app on my phone and use it. If the place is over 80 dB I ask the first employee for hearing protection... if they look confused I tell them I am measuring over 80 dB sound pressure, and they need to provide hearing protection to anyone there. Usually the volume is turned down immediately. Never saw the reason to have the music so loud that you need to protect your hearing, and making it harder to hear the music. Nor having the volumes in theatres that loud (started using ear plugs there too)

Just got tickets to 2 metal concerts... been to hundreds of them, 98% of them I'min the front row, I wear earplugs to a lot of them, and at work every day(optional) ..I'm 47 and only have slight issues hearing when in a room with lots of background noise, and most of that is because I have ADD
