If you’re starting to get a few rotator cuff symptoms, or signs of shoulder impingement, use this quick but important pre-gym exercise to help protect your shoulders.
The key to protecting your shoulders from injury is activating and strengthening the muscle combination of the Serratus Anterior and Lower Trapezius. When they stop working properly it reduces the subacromial space and puts extra strain on the rotator cuff muscles. This pre-workout exercise activates & strengthens both muscles and gets them working together properly again.

Thanks Elena! This is actually my favorite exercise at the moment. Amazingly effective for rotator cuff issues but also great for people with tightness in the upper traps. By activating/'switching on' the lower traps, we can get the central nervous system to 'switch off' over-active upper traps because they have the opposite function. So helpful for two extremely common problems and so quick & easy once you get the hang of it.

Had a meniscus tear 6 years ago,my shoulde bone shift and goes back inside,i avoid putting my shoulder in the position it came out from. tried working out and feeling so much pain in my shoulder ball and socket area, now i raise my hand and i hear cracks around the area, my collar bone is currently popping out more than the other one.
