Protected by the URDL, Trenton Mill Farms

Trenton Mill Farms is located in northern Baltimore County, MD. Operated by the Mielke family, the farm manages over 2800 acres of farmland, of which about 300 acres is owned by Trenton Mill Farms. In this video, Clarence Mielke talks about how development is changing agriculutral operations. Trenton Mill Farms is protected by Baltimore County's nationally-recognized "Urban Rural Demarcation Line." The "URDL," as it is known, is the county's blueprint for where housing development on public sewer will go and where rural and resource land is protected.
