I am only at 10:47 but had to comment that Mr Williams is simply outstanding. I have been to a lot of seminars and not only does Mr Williams know what he is doing and why, but he does a Fantastic job of transmitting his understanding through his teaching. Thank you, Mr Williams!

Thank you for your content! I just learned this technique from my teacher. And while i learned a slightly adjusted version, i love to see the differences. I love to view those different parts as additional bits of knowledge. Thanks you for posting such great Kenpo content!

I was reading through my 3rd brown journal while watching your video (thank you so much for them by the way, they’re excellent), and there’s a discrepancy. Perhaps I don’t have the final ‘87 journal, because step three says “…execute a left horizontal finger thrust to your opponent’s eyes. Simultaneous with this action deliver a right front snapping ball kick…”

Thank you for watching the video. Your journal seems updated, as the 1987 journal says the exact same under step #3. I am guessing your question is regarding the timing of the groin kick just prior to the eye strike, which I refer to? That detail is actually in the Notes and Themes section of the technique. Not everyone knows that all of Mr. Parker's 1987 instructor journals have 2 write-ups for each technique. Volume #5 of the "Insights" books give you examples of that. Here's the part from the journal (under "notes") that addresses this: "Your second move teaches you to strike to the front using the coordination level of opposite hand/opposite foot. Due to the depth factors there is a quarter beat timing with the kick slightly preceding the poke." I hope you found this useful.
