Hey Frank. I'll bet it's quite something to see watching that bird in her nest. We have many birds here on the farm and we enjoy seeing them also.

Hi,,, I really enjoyed your WELL MADE video :) There is always one In every crowd. Your vineyard looks awesome, you’ve inspired me to make one and I’m going with the Thompson and Flame grapes like you did. Would you happen to know the variety of the big red seedless grapes sold in grocery stores ? Thanks !!

Hey there Chris. I really don't know what variety those grocery store grapes happen to be. That being said, the Flame grapes are a FANTASTIC option for us in desert type environments. I don't know that a large grape like that would thrive in our hot weather as they ripen in the middle of summer.

what length and width is your netting your vines really look great
@EdgeofNowhereFarm4 жыл бұрын
Great question. The width of the netting is 14 feet which gives plenty of space to tie it at the bottom. The length was cut to the length of the run plus about 2'. For this run it was about 32' long. When we do it again we'll give ourselves another 2 feet of give in length as it was difficult to keep some of the more hardy vines in at the ends. Hope this helps!

Do you use one length of net to cover one vine or do you use a section on each side of the vine? Thanks for your time.

Great question Kenneth. The netting we buy is 14' wide, so we're able to cut it to length and with all the production between 3-6' it allows us to net the whole run with 1 length of netting.

City gal here. What exactly are sheep clothes pins??
@EdgeofNowhereFarm28 күн бұрын
Sorry, I tend to talk a bit too fast, especially in these older vids, but they are just cheap clothes pins. 😉

I have brown patches on my Concord grapes. Do you know what it is?
@EdgeofNowhereFarm Жыл бұрын
Hmm, not really sure on this one. How is the irrigation setup?

How many individual plants do you have there?
@EdgeofNowhereFarm3 жыл бұрын
Hey there! We had 5 individual vines in this particular run of Flame Grapes.

You talked so much, but the part protecting grapes is so hard to find🤪

Yeah, I do use words pretty freely and try to cut some of that out of the content now. These older videos had much less editing.

Yeah, you trimmed your grapes but for sure you know squat about video making and lighting. I am surprised that you didn't have your camera pointing at the sun.

Wow, thanks for the thoughtful, considerate feedback on a video we did years ago with almost no experience. Now I'll work on that shot of the sun.
