It must be the loneliness. I'm 77f and try to fill my life with in-person relationships. I’m also tech-savvy and I recognize scammy things online. I’m fortunate that my daughter and son-in-law live in my home. I have the wonderful opportunity to make nightly family dinners because they come home from careers. It gives me purpose. I'm very fortunate.

Im 75, a widow, most of my family and friends have died. I hv been a victim of this romance scam crap. Believe me, they work on you, love bomb and gaslight you. Make you feel guilty abd pkay on your sympathy. They lie and threaten and get angry. Then they ghost you. The trauma is endless. They preyed on my emotions.
