great idea with the cardboard ramp! I mainly use an EV column system now days, but still use a sub and top box for larger functions and will definitely give that trick a go next time I use them! thanks :)

Hi Crafty. Yes I am still out here playing guitar. The angled amp stand works great for me. Gets that sound where it needs to be and stops ME putting my water bottle on it.

When I was playing guitar it was always a good idea to angle my amp upwards. If you have pop out casters just pop out the rear two casters. Or make a little wedge stand with some bits of wood to prop up the front. Can’t put a drink on an angled amp!

I did it myself in my youth on my amp but after losing a large glass of southern comfort (you know, a weeks wages worth), I stopped.

If they put drinks on your Amp/Equipment, you can always telling them, Have you tried picking your drink up with Broken Fingers..!! While holding a hammer in one hard.

Good idea, but cardboard won't last. Use 6mm plywood instead.
