My advise is that it’s best to have layers of security; a visual deterrent, tracker and an immobiliser. It’s always going to be a cat and mouse game with car thieves and security companies. Agree that car manufacturers themselves need to be more accountable and incorporate better alarm technologies into their vehicles

Its a syndicate that involves port workers and clearing agents in the countries they are sold inl. Like in Kenya customs are holding a stolen Range Rover with the chassis number altered. Car stolen from the UK and arrived in Kenya last month via Dubai. Hmmm
