Yes, these videos are awesome. If you end up doing all of them, I would love a video stating which you feel is easiest to play up to like a 20 key, which is most fun to play at those levels, etc. Relative ease to gear/dps options for the tanks might also be cool.

Respectfully, I'd disagree with at least a couple of views about warrior shortcomings. I see ignore pain's inability to be used as stand alone damage mitigation as a good thing. Here's why: it is able to be used quite often and if it's duration is tracked and rage budgeted it can be very powerful when viewed as mechanic damage reduction and not mitigation. It also works well when paired with trinkets that help with damage. Having lots of smaller cooldowns with short recharge is great if you use them with a modular mindset. If you're reading the fight and you see damage coming you can quickly build defenses that are proportional to what is incoming. This can be way more effective than blowing a 3 minute cooldown for moderate damage and then you truly are dependant on the healer. I know that doesn't really apply to Blood Death Knights but there have to be exceptions to every rule. I don't want to make this a book. So I'll just say Prot Warriors can be a fast and hard hitting tank that can actually be less dependant on a healer if played a certain way. Individual milage may vary and this is just my opinion.

I love this style of video. A guide tells me what to do, which is nice, but this gives me more insight into what i'm good/not good at and helps me plan my patch accordingly. Hopefully Blizz watches videos like these to add to their development feedback.

Thanks for the Deep Dives Llarold. Absolutely the best tank content on KZbin these days. So what needs to change? Make spell reflect into also a spell deflect, so if it doesn't go back onto the boss if at least gets AMS style deflected? ? Spell block chance built into the class maybe? I totally agree with you, Ignore Pain is always the problem. It's never at a middle ground, it's always a god mode un-killable barrier (Emerald Nightmare...) or it's just not a great use of rage and feels too weak to even consider. Flavor wise and fun wise, Prot Warrior is my favorite class to play... always has been and likely always will be. I don't need it to be the best, I just need it to be considered a viable go to. I wish Blizzard would just acknowledge it.

I have been maining a Prot Warr since BFA and I can relate to whatever you said. Unblockable/Unreflectable/sustained magic damage is where Prot warr fails eg Wings of Extinction and Terror Claws in Mythic Kazara. Really nice video. Loved your optimism :) Learned a lot too. Thank you

IMO Pro Warris were great in 10.0 because the 4-set buffed Ignore Pain so much. You could use it, Pump it up with doing dmg and then lost it on big hits or on cooldown. i needet to reset my ignore pain like every 10 Seconds or so. this let me spend my rage into active dmg - that is fun. it gave me dmg and pumped up my Ignore pain. In 10.1 i kinda dump all my rage on Ignore Pain to survive anything and it becomes an class where you auto, shield slam, "stomp" (not sure how its calld in english) and then use ur rage on shield block and ignore pain - thats not fun. not much active dmg output, just rage generation, hold uptime on shieldblock and dump rage into ignore pain. Probably I am just bad at rage management, but thats how it felt.

I really enjoy these style of videos. For me, getting sat in Wotlk on Sarth 3D just because I didn’t want to play a DK killed it for me. On that fight, no matter how good of a player I was, my character would die. It just feels like ever since TBC, prot warriors haven’t been a “go to” tank. Even in TBC, only a couple fights really required a prot warrior. I just want to feel as strong as a brewmaster when I get hit. I do believe I’m a bit bitter lol

I'd love more videos like this. Guides can be found everywhere this type of video is something special. I'd look forward to seeing one on Bears. They are going from over powered to maybe last in ranking but it seems hard to tell with the tier being broken. On the other hand after the wildfire and regrowth procs on top of hibernate, rebirth, MoW and a decurse might still make up for that at least in M+. Currently between Prot Warrior and Bear.

Really like your content , continue on & okay don't play warrior so far lol , i have all tanks & healers plus a couple dps & the game is still fun always try different set ups & usually run 18 to 20's trying different abilities & set ups that you wouldn't use at higher keys , this is the first expansion i didn't raid & there was a real freedom to do what i wanted in the game , felt great

It was universally the least-played, least-successful tank in all of Season 2, and that's what's being talked about. This video wasn't recorded in the future when Warrior becomes good because of the S3 Tier Set.
