I do the same and I don't think of it as a punishment . Once I decide to take a break to eat before I've completed what I was doing then my performance will be greatly affected. I become lazy after eating and usually go into slow mode so I prefer not to eat until am done. It motivates me to work faster so I can eat.

The braids came out looking cute. The beads are definitely giving a spring vibe. But, girl you have a lot of patience! Long before my hair reached waist length all braiding and twisting stopped. It is just too time-consuming. The most I'll do is two braids and pin them up. Other than that I wear a WnG.

What made you switch the way you apply your products ? Usually you put the TGIN Daily Moisturizer then seal it in with the Palmers Olive Oil Grow Therapy & your hair stays moisturized for weeks..IDK I just think with you having high porosity hair + the recent protein overload your hair would need the extra moisture.
@sarahdanforth7032 жыл бұрын
She's using a thick moisturizer so as time goes on it's going to get into her hair. Like the LOC method. She also said this way her hair doesn't shrink up and makes it easier to braid
@justanniee37882 жыл бұрын
@@sarahdanforth703 correct me if I’m wrong but Grease is a sealant so putting a sealant first then a moisturizer on top isn’t really moisturizing anything because the grease blocks moisture from getting in right ?...but I also understand her not wanting her hair to strink up 😏
@sarahdanforth7032 жыл бұрын
@@justanniee3788 it is a sealant but it also runs rubs off or melts into the hair eventually. That's why the thicker moisturizer is used cause it lasts a bit longer on the hair. The method is basically like mixing your oils and conditioners so they get in at the same time

Since you apply the grease before the moisturizer, how does the moisture penetrate your hair? Is it working for you?
@sarahdanforth7032 жыл бұрын
As time goes on the grease does wear off and the moisturizer slowly gets into the hair. That's why it's key to use a thick moisturizer
