I don't know how to braid. Do you have any tips for a natural newbie?😢

You're in luck! I have a video detailing how to cornrow. It's recently uploaded so it should be easy to find :)

Even though I have been natural since my big chop, 5 years ago, I am still trying to learn what my hair likes and wants. I have 4b/4c hair. My hair is dry and I mainly keep it in two stranded twists as a protective style. I keep the twists in until about a week and a half to two weeks with minimal moisturizing in between wash days. Would this be considered okay? I am trying to grow out my hair a little bit because I plan on getting another hair cut or just do a BC a few years down the line.

Do you blow dry your hair before the braid down?

No I don't. After washing my hair, I usually put it in 4 large twists until it's mostly dry. This way my hair is lightly stretched and manageable.

It's from Pretty Little Thing. It's actually a dress called "nude abstract." I got it two years ago, so I'm not sure if it's still available :/
