Q2. If proteins are not filtered (due to the size and charge), why would "overflow proteinuria" occur, because no matter how many they are present in the blood they won't be filtered through.

Please assist with my curiosity Q1. If proteins are not filtered (due to the size and charge), how does "tubular proteinuria" occur (proteinuria due to absorption dysfunction) because there would be nothing to absorb in the first place?

Under normal conditions, in most cases, proteins are not filtered. However, in cases of kidney disease, they get filtered all the time.

My father is 86 years old (Diabetic mellit 2 ,Hypertension,Obesity) and had a 24 hour urine collection. the result was: 32mg/24H on 1900mL/24H it can be considered renal damage? given that the range is: - < 30 Physiological or slightly increased. - 30 - 300 Moderately increased. - > 300 Severely increased. thx have a good work
