Protek35 Prop Noise Test - 3 Blade vs 8 Blade

I had some fun testing the new HQProp 8 blade props for some noise reduction. Heres a link to buy if you enjoy the results I recommend them!

Get yourself a Nazgul5 V2 bro, flies like a dream. I've just purchased the Protek35 HD and a couple of packs of these HQ 8 blade props. I've heard that they're a tight fit. Did you have to sand the ducts at all?

Nah man actually the 8 blades fit and works great right off the gate. ALSO I am very happy to hear you recommending the Nazgul5 v2 cuz I just purchased one on banggood yesterday!:) cant freaking wait!

Hello friend, my Protek 35 Digital is 4s, I've heard reports that some pilots used these 8-blade propellers and the engines got really hot. And also with the 8-blade propellers the battery runs out quickly. Can you say something about this?

Hello there! Well I can say I have only used them for 3 more sessions after this. So far sounds better especially from a distance, i do not believe it made a notable difference to battery life or motors yet. Will have to do more testing I can update you when I have an answer!:)

I actually have read that the Protek comes tuned pretty well out of the box. So I kept my tune basically stock!

What GoPro mount do you have on there?

Its actually just a plastic mount that iFlight provides in there BNF kit that I bought. My first quad so I started off with the BNF version on this one.

@@ApexCapture Interesting...the mount that iFlight gave me has teeth that are too small for standard GoPro accessories, so I have to use their TPU mount :/

@@ApexCapture lol....that's was gonna be my second suggestion. Both awesome quads. I actually started with the F5 and just got the protek35 on 6s this week. Haven't had a chance to really test it out yet but it SEEMS more powerful than my 5 inch which is insane! Good luck to you and hope you enjoy it

Jesus man. A noise comparison, without even the most basic smartphone app decibel meter? Zero effort. I downloaded one in 15 seconds, just now, and it even shows which frequencies are the loudest... Also, there's not a cinedrone flier watching this video who doesn't wonder of there's any flight time difference between the two. If I could get 20-30 more seconds just from different props, I wouldn't care if it sounded like a dental drill. I'm gonna remix my audio anyway. No client wants to hear prop noise, no matter what it sounds like.
