Cinewhoop with no ducts / Propguards have been highly requested! But is it worth getting? I printed out a PLA part for my iFlight Protek35 with my 3D Printer. I love flying a Cinewhoop but does the propguards / ducts affect the iFlight Protek35 ? Let´s find out! A cinewhoop is a amazing tool for cinematic videos, but sometimes you just wanna test to see what you can get out of those drones. iFlight Protek35 is a amazing drone and it´s my favorite cinewhoop! Propguards / Ducts or not?

Just did this conversion but I just used standoffs without the stack guards. I wonder if they were made out of TPU instead of PLA maybe they would be better for impact protection🤔

Great video man. I've recently got the Protek35 HD (thanks to your vids and suggestions!). Just wondering what the weight is with this set up (without battery and GoPro)...? Thinking if, with a smallish battery and GoPro, it's under 500g, might be worth a thought as, here in the UK with an A2CofC, you'll be able to fly it with no minimum distance from uninvolved people (just not intentionally over them), which will open up more possibilities for flying opportunities/locations. Might be a cheaper fix than getting a whole different set up/drone.

Thanks for doing this for then I don't have to try it. :D My feeling in general is if you want to take the guards of in the first place, then rather get a quad without ducts. Happy with my ducted Protek35, it's amazing! Thanks for the video.

I'm actually did this with the original frame by cutting out the duct and it fly greats for me, a lot more agility due to loss in weights. BTW I did not use the stock PIDs because it sucks anyway due to vibrations while throttling.

I’m just starting into FPV, do you think the protek35 is a good first drone? Never thought about taking off the guards until someone in a FB group pointed it out, which is how I found your video.

Did you notice any difference in the noise? I wanted to make it a little quieter. In your video, didn't seem like it had a huge effect on the noise levels.

To be honest, I couldn´t hear a huge diffrence in the noise... If you want the most silent Protek35 I would go for the 6 blade 3inch props! (See my video about it)
