Best cover by far. Truly talented man. Also nice job on the ending part, i have tried to play that part by memory and gave up and wrote it out as well, too many small differences between bars to remember for me. Amazing cover, love some of the personal flair.

I really enjoy your selection of covers, everywhere from death metal to technical death to more progressive types and they all sound great. Nicely done.

Garrett Brown I know I'm kinda late to reading this but this link could potentially help you muratdiril.com/endorser-david-diepold/ I know it's not the same kit as in the video but it'll give you an idea of the cymbals he generally uses :D
@turnsoonest3 жыл бұрын
Your cymbals are killer. What do you use?
@noahk501510 жыл бұрын
Fantastic! Great band. Did you add anything original to this like those double bass fills on the last chorus? Or is this an exact replica? It looks like you were reading something towards the end just wondering which parts are your own twist
@Divulsus8 жыл бұрын
if you mean the accelerations and such then no that is in the original song. Chris Adler drummed with the band and that's a technique he uses quite often

Great cover. Weird that the hi-hat is used as an effect cymbal, no more than 2 or 3 times for 5 minutes.

good cover. I agree with one of the other comments that you went a bit overboard with the cymbals and it ruined it a little but was still a tight cover!
@howycwap9 жыл бұрын
+David Johannes its just because the cymbals are so prominent in the mix, had this been mixed like a normal song so the drums blended more it would have sounded fine. This is a drum cover so obviously its mixed so that the drums stand out most in the mix
@MichaelWLee8 жыл бұрын
+David Johannes I prefer him going overboard on symbols than other drummers that place fills every 4 seconds in the song

Except for the cymbal abuse, the cover was great man.
