9.18.24 | UNION SQUARE, Manhattan - Protesters again gathered against Sundays Subway Shooting in Brooklyn this time in Union Square in Manhattan, Protesters then marched to Washington Sq Park then headed to the West 4th Street subway station and attempted to disrupt service there. Police blocked fare entrances at the station and arrested several protesters for blocking traffic above ground on 6th Ave.

In DC, the fare is $6 for subway, but DC fare is distance based. So you only pay that $6 if you go all the way out of DC. It's $2.50 if you go a only few stops.
