This is why Jon is still one of the best content creators. He's one of the few creators left that supports EVERYONE in his community, not just the super talented. I don't think I've ever seen anothet creator defend the younger members, or even the newer artists in their community as vehemently as Jon does. Absolute legend

I'm super insecure about my artwork, so Jon's full on supportive rant was really comforting. Even if university art professors don't think my shit's good enough, one (1) Canadian man does and that's all I need :')

Artists don't owe anyone conventional proportion or technique! As long as the artist is happy with what they've made or felt they've learned something to implement in the future, that's what matters. The amount of effort that goes into any piece of art should be acknowledged and cherished! If I was a content creator and some fledgling artist felt I was worthy of something, I'd probably cry

For context on why the Final Fight end credits screen says 1912, in the original arcade version it would say what year you completed the game as that date, but if you complete it in 2000 or later it glitches back to 1912!

I like how the prologue of the new legend was basically just murdering someone. For revenge, but still. As someone who used to do art, but hasn’t for quite a while... I needed to hear some of the stuff Jon said in the segment at 15:05. Not the part about blasting people, but the rest of it. So, thank you, Jon. I think I might try picking up my pencil again soon.

Ah yes September 2019 where Prof Jon taught us all about SNK and the community was just getting into the groove of turning his life into an everlasting meme. As I sit here in 2021 I reminisce about these times and think my god "Where's Froggy?" Love the highlights Jon and editor you are doing the best.

Man I remember watching the VOD where Jon spoke at length about encouraging people with their art and "don't insult people", it was actually just a random vid at the time 'cus I'd run out of my usual vids in a day and was just "Hey I like Jon in TRG why not?" Thank you for highlighting everyone's art. Just thanks for being a good person. As someone who views themselves as bad at art... I do all the hate anyone needs to be given to myself. I'll admit some things upset me in art but I don't harass people for it. I just remain silent because they are happy and not hurting others. If you are going to insult people over fiction... you need to step back and remember we all have murdered 1,000s of people in video games. We get off on and enjoy on people's deaths. Any art you might insult someone for but it the skill level/content isn't any worse then killing an npc in a video game. THAT BEING SAID don't use art to harass others either. ...I made mistakes in the past. I'm still upset about them and hate myself for it. (Nothing related to this though.) Don't repeat the mistakes I did. If you end up feeling remorse you can NEVER fix it and the pain is infinitely worse.

I have no idea how difficult it would be, or are annoying/tedious it is, but it would be handy for a note showing what game is being played in each clip. Since Jon swaps games frequently, and it is not always shown beforehand, just a little text on screen, or even video chapters, would be handy to know what he is playing.
