cool video, but why do you market this preamp to rock players and basically imply it's not for down tuned metal or even anything heavier than rock? yes they are both different but they both do metal extremely well.

KSR build great equipment, I bought a KSR Colossus H-100 amp in 2014, since then I've had 10 other amps go in and out, some I still have, Friedman,EVH,Engl,Marshall,MesaBoogie, etc.... always like playing the others but the KSR has something that no other amp has, the KSR gear all around just has its own specific tone, I would compare it to a sound that has gone through a studio recording and been reamped, just no flaw at all, no muddiness just great clarity. Kyle is a wizard at building gear and not only does it sound unbelievable its a solid high quality build.

Thank you for the great comparison and for creating such amazing pedals! I’m still about to decide which one I should get. If you would play in a Cover Band and play stuff like Papa Roach, Linkin Park, but also Mötley Crue, Guns’N’Roses and Foo Fighters - would you then rather go for the Vesta, the Ceres or even for both if you would have to decide? P. S. I already own a Friedman BE OD Deluxe (just for your information), Amp is a Marshall SC20C (small JCM 800 Combo)

So conflicted. I want this sound, but with 1/2 to 3/4th the gain. I play heavy too don’t get wrong, but I fill in a lot for bands that cover more low gain classic alternative. Would the “classic” gain just be too much? Not sure how much you can dial out the gain

With the 3 gain modes, you have a huge range, plus the Gain knob works just like a tube amp. Mode up is Crunch, and with that you have anywhere from clean with some grit all the way to boosted jcm800 type tones.

(John Mayer, interpol) Although it’s a classically voiced amp, the Vesta still seems to be targeted towards metal and classic rock. Can’t seem to find any demos of it outside of high gain rock and metal

Mentioning “Full saturation” multiple times, but never turning the gain past 1 o’clock seems off to me. I’m sure it’s capable, would have liked to hear that turned up more.

Also, it seemed as if the ceres had more gain overall. You would think it would be the opposite considering he also said the Vesta is more saturated. Am I missing something here? LOL I love the way they both sound though
