When i played a lot more im hots and wol it was actually faster to produce units for gateways, you made warpgate because it made defending and reinforcing easier

Tactical Mistake vs Strategic Mistake

I think uThermal does kind of overanalyze how "good" some of these strategies are because the strategy at the end of the day doesn't matter that much when your micro and macro are significantly better than your opponents. Even the skill gap between a player of uThermal's tier and that of a 5.2 GM is massivem, it would probably be like a diamond playing against a gold. He always acts so flabbergasted that these strats work but it's just a matter of not making any big macro or micro mistakes most of the time.

It means top 50 accounts on the server. Grandmaster is the highest rank on the sc2 ladder. In other words, it’s super impressive that he can hit that rank playing troll challenge builds.

@@dpend yeah and protoss makes up 90% of the gms. Imo we shouldn't make balance around just the top of the top players when it leads to completely throwing out of balance the rest of the playerbase but it's just my two cents
