Playing Prototype 2 for the first time these days,im so sad to end this game its so good,alex's fanboys destroyed this game "heller sucks" etc. Alex may be better but part 2 is for gameplay better than 1st part (newer yeah and more game logical) Imagine 3rd part and others how would look like 😞

Just beat the game, shame it will never get a sequel, prototype 1 was only good because of the gameplay, but this manages to be better both on gameplay and history, loved the game!

@@ChristianProtossDragoon lol i understood it the other way around, challenge wise, for me at least, prototype 1 is better for the thing i mentioned above jusy my humbe opinion cause I like challenge on games i play, like god of war for example, when done right hard can be pretty fun! prototype 2 is the better game as a whole tho, the gameplay is a bit easier and the final battle for example is easier than the supreme hunter, but still as a whole game is better, story wise Im sure both should be at the same level

Mercer was suffering from a mental disorder after being turned into the Blacklight Virus, making him forget about his past, but he didn't forget them completely, he had flashes of his distant memories when someone talked about it. Example: Captain Cross talking to Mercer about Penn Station, and he kneels to the ground in pain while having flashes of his old memories that he forgot.

Prototype had 2 very short comic runs published by DC. The first run reveals more background information about Greene, Blackwatch, Hope, Idaho, and the viruses. The second run is where Alex falls in love with a former criminal's daughter, who shoots Alex in the head and takes his money. He consumes her, and that's the final straw for him. There's some stuff that happened before that, but that's probably the most important reason.
