I liked this game ALOT, but it was over the moment i thought it had just begun. Never have i avoided strike teams cuz they were pretty easy and fun to take down. This game felt like an unfinished remake of Prototype 1. In the first one you had more combat moves in default form. I missed that.

Guys, the swearing is the least of my worries, like honestly if that's the flaw your gonna complain about the most, then there can't be much else wrong with the game. I'm enjoying it so far, and the swearing hasn't affected me in the least bit. Oh well, important to remember this, and even gametrailers score is based on opinion. So, lets just leave it at that.

You will like playing it but you won't love it like the first one. It has much of diluted feeling. Fun combat system where you can mix two powers at a time for combos and mayhem but upgrades ruin any challenge. It's like you already start as tough guy who can deal with this tanks brawlers and choppers after first hour of playing. You soon find it's far too easy to block and counter ;p. And then nothing rly hard comes to cross your way but you still progressively get stronger.

Well i personally I like infamous better as well but they arent really comparable gameplay wise was what i meant to say infamous plays more like a unique shooter (note "unique") while prototype seems a lot more like a hack and slash game.

Vengeance? Wtf? Gametrailers is all wrong.He's not out for vengeance, they obviously didn't play the game to the end. Heller is out for revenge against Blackwatch because Mercer told him they 're responsible for deaths of his family. When he realizes that Mercer is the one to spread the new infection in the first place, he's out to get his revenge against Mercer but that all changes when he discovers his daughter is still alive and all he cares about is saving his daughter and stopping the virus

I don't get this review, I don't get why people say it's just another sandbox game because I can't think of any other sandbox game that gives you this over the top action to the extent prototype 2 does. I also think the story is quite good, it's not just a quest for revenge you find out a lot about what Alex is doing fair enough it is a bit predictable at times but still better than a lot of games story.

One of my favorite underrated games of the 7th gen. It may not be as great as the first, but it's funner than the first. By the way, this game doesn't have "bad graphics", with bad animation. Greg Miller was wrong about that. He needs to wear glasses. Other than that, this game is a underrated gem.

It doesn't. It is more of the same, but they streamlined the levelling up, so you dont have to purcahse abilities from a huge menu, plus you can equip two powers at once and the shield is more of a block button than an ability.

I hate these reviewers that bash both prototype 1 and 2 because the game doesn't allow you to get "creative" with all of these powers. What the fuck is stopping you? Just do it yourself. The game should not be the one to tell you exactly when, where, and how you should use each power.

infamous got a higher metacritic, but some reviewers (edge for example) give Prototype 2 a higher score than infamous. Some people think infamous is better, other vice versa. I prefer Prototype 2 by a long shot.

same in my country but my problem is that they become used to violence and gore and the foul language at such a young age that their behaviors and personalities would also become violent and what they say would be as offensive as the speech in the games they play

Because a choice or moral system would limit the amount of chaos and fun you can make, which is what this game is about. If you don't like unbridled destruction that isn't limited by what you want to unlock based on your choices, then get a different game.

Both prototype and prototype 2 are pretty much the same game as Incredible Hulk: Ultimate destruction (made by the same company), seriously, play it and you will see what I'm talking about.

you cant compare these two games , the only thing that is the same is the quarantine superhero thing they have going on , infamous had a comic bookish feel , and prototype has a much more gritty gory feel to it . I am not trying to say that this is better , all in all i prefer infamous , but you cant judge this game based on infamous , play them both and enjoy them both , for different reasons , because they are both great games.

I liked the game a lot , I like the feeling of how powerful the character is. The game is like a darker and more powerful infamous game, but i liked infamous better I think it had better side missions and some cool things that set it apart.

I think it's odd, in gaming how sometimes it seems like gamers/reviewers have this unrealistic expectation for every game to be some masterpiece, AAA, Red Dead Redemption work of art. It'd be like if a film goer, went in to every film, expecting to see something on par with Citizen Kane. Its repetitive because the gamer doesnt know how to play it creatively. If you use different powers,combos and abilities and fighting tactics for each mission when suitable, prototype 2 becomes fun. And theres no game other than prototype where you can run up walls, glide, consume other people and watch extreme graphic violence as you slice people up. Assassin Creed doesnt win this kind of thing with Prototype.

Reviews mean shit. If reviewers had there way half the games would postponed because half of the stuff wasn't right in them. I bought Infamous and prototype because they both looked good. Not its got a good review i'm gonna jump on the band wagon and get it because I can't make my own mind up in what I like.
