Prototype wind turbine generator , installed the second stator ,1st April 2021

Not that much to report , changed a few things , put the second stator in , couldn't get it 100% right , I need to sort and set the best alignment, not sure how this project will work out , I'll keep trying to make it work but seems to need setting up perfectly.
I am going to try fixing up and putting back on that piece of tower to add more height, I was planning to buy an 8 foot pole but they are much more expensive than I thought.

looks good with 2stators...maybe try to loose the chain just a bit... maybe that will help to spin bit easier

Thanks man , The wind was being blocked by the house a bit, we will get there , the tower has improved much !! as always keep working to try and better my skills.

I whould go for a beltdrive if the wind goes too fast it will slip or run off the pully as a safety measure.

I have moved on to another project. I'm only using chains and sprockets at the moment this rockets are suitable for high speed motorcycles 👍👍👍

Wow , one day i hope to do a dual, but your scaring me , will my blades spin fast enough. They did fine with one pma comparable to factory made turbines.

This project has sucked up much time , I need to get the setup right , Working on the other turbine today , I got gas for my MIG and making the other blade hub.

@@GavinFreedomLover it sure does, dont kill yourself man its just a turbine , hopefully it will all work out for you ,man if i had the money a nice f+p or two would arrive on your door step along with some decent magnets for an axial rotor, i used to fo that kinda thing, i just walk away from it all for a while sometimes many days and return with a whole new perspective, somerimes it does seem endless, i used to have 3 turbines up, and 1190w of panels, panels won hands down but im in an absolutely terrible location for turbines and at a rental with bossy owners , out in the open plains of the farms where i did much testing it was alot better ahh id love a nice plot of land for offgrid and growing organic fruit n veg, chickens etc. Tonight on our news a guy here got blood clots throughout his body after being vaccinated with astra zeneca , now theyre saying to be watchful for up to 20 days for any symptoms like headaches etc . No doubt its rare, but a may cause death as a side effect is kind of a worry.

Pretty slow, is that because you now have 2 electric brakes? Both of the stators are wired to dump loads. How about disconnecting the new stator from the load and see if the rotation speeds up like it used to.

I got to the bottom of it in the end it was basically to do with the chain.
