I'm a hybrid. I'm a conservative in my own life. I'm a liberal when it comes to others having choices in their lives, different from mine. And I vote accordingly. Example - I'm personally against abortion BUT voted against banning it, because I don't vote my agenda, I vote for what I consider best for the state/ country. Thus I consider myself a thinking moderate. I consider all sides, not just my own. I wish more people did that. What's right for me may not be what's right for everyone else.. I'm not extreme. Extremism leads to the inability to consider anyone else's ideas..you can only hear your own voice. That's a dangerous stand to take. And nothing positive comes from it. Nothing gets accomplished. Men like Trump get elected.

I did that same search a few months ago. It's like Nixon's Southern Strategy taking hold flipped a lot more internal things into the "on" position as well as flipping the Republican Party platform stance to get the Southern votes. Aside from the social assistance programs pretty everything defining a Liberal used to be the staunch Conservative platform.
