Proud Trans Flight Attendant Commits Suicide | ISH News

Kayleigh Scott, a transgender flight attendant has committed suicide. She had achieved great fame in 2020 when she was in an ad by her employer, the United Airlines. It was an advertising campaign to celebrate transgender visibility day which is on 31st March. It is a day dedicated to celebrating transgender people and raising awareness of discrimination faced by transgender people worldwide.
In the video, Kayleigh said she was very embarrassed because she was trans. But after a while she realized she had a story and how important it was to tell it to the world. It is important for others who are still struggling in society. She said her life changed for the better when she did that video. She felt proud of herself and lastly she said, "I'm proud I'm trans." Kayleigh Scott was 25 and died in her Denver, USA apartment on 20th March 2023.
In her last post on different social media accounts, Kayleigh Scott wrote," As I take my final breaths and exit this living earth, I would like to apologize to everyone I let down. I am so sorry I could not be better. To those that I love, I am sorry I could not be stronger. To those that gave me their everything, I am sorry my effort was not reciprocated." She tagged some of her loved ones in her post and asked them to remember her for the good times they shared. “Please understand that me leaving is not a reflection on you, but the result of my own inability to turn myself for the better," Scott added.
Lastly, she promised that she will see them all again on the other side. Kayleigh's sister, Ashley Scott says that Kayleigh was the light of their lives and that she was a selfless soul. The death is being investigated by the police and the final cause behind it is yet to be known. Her body is also sent for an autopsy.
It is very sad that Kayleigh took this step. We hope that other trans people remain strong in their journey.

The thing is that this individual couldn't accept the way he was created. He clearly was trying to be something that he wasn't by transitioning. Folks like this individual don't realize that when they do that, they start taking hormones blockage/testosterones blockage medications and go through treatments for the rest of their lives. That's why the trans community have a skyrocketing rate of suicide given that these drugs/medications and treatments lead to depression, just for the sake of trying to be something their not. Also, lots of folks who transition regret it big time because they find out its not what they though it was. That's why I strongly don't recommend transitioning...you're doing more harm to your body than good (physically/mentally). Its not worth it.

Especially since they have to be taking medications after medications for the rest of their lives. I had a co- worker who transitioned just like this flight attendant transitioned just like and weeks later, committed suicide. Trust me when I say that you’re doing more harm to your body than good when you transition.
