I am 45 years old , I have 6 children and I am in the best shape I have ever been and I have been into fitness/bodybuilding my whole life (also an ex-CrossFit junkie) I have overtrained and under eight basically my entire adult life! Just like Sal I picked up my first flex magazine at the age of 14 join the gym and never look back however, in the last six months, you guys have totally transformed my whole fitness life, so thank you so much for that!

Love all of the information you share! Thank you, I've learned so much. I wish I knew 40 years ago everything I know now. I'm a 59yo grandma and after overcoming a lower back nerve issue that I had for 4 years, I'm back to training to become strong again!

Omigosh! What a blessing! I shared this episode with a young kid I mentor who just finished his last year of eligibility at the college level in football with Univ of CO Boulder under Coach Prime (Deion Sanders). This young man (Noah Young) knows that his journey to the NFL is not done with college, so he has continued his training toward NFL Pro Day (March 2024) with Landow Performance in Denver with a huge focus on speed. I know he will really benefit from this fascinating discussion. Thank you for bringing this guest on your show today. Awesome! God bless each of you for the value you bring. 🎉

As someone who is new to training clients this is gold. One of my clients is 14 and is a developing athlete, this couldn’t have came at a better time.

Listening at least semi-regularly for years and years now. This podcast is probably what pushed me over the edge to decide to become a trainer (part time for now). I'm enjoying it a ton so far, seeing clients get stronger. But I always love learning more. How could anyone not want to keep learning more of this stuff? The body is a crazy thing. Pumped for this episode because I'm not all that familiar with real-life, effective speed training yet, and I want to be able to coach average people but also more athletic populations who need results on the court/field.

Another great episode to add to my arsenal. Just spent my birthday working out, giving a free mobility class, and setting up a body fat testing booth which ended up in a few assessments. Some people said I was crazy spending my birthday that way but seeing how grateful people were as I was honest with them was more than enough of a present. Thanks for nudging me in this direction fellas! Also, gonna treat myself with prime and prime pro to help with my future assessments!

"Trying to win the war of unhealthy". That's powerful! The only regret I have is not running into you guys at an earlier age. I find more motivation in the knowledge you guys speak, than the words a motivational speaker speaks. Thank you guys!! Your knowledge is bringing healthy!

Lots of great stuff, uncommon sense. I like the small dense muscle, I would rather have the bigger dense muscle, but does the big bulky fluffy muscle have the same metabolic effects as the big hypertrophy muscle? Would doing some ankle and knee flexion on a vibration plate increase stretchy springy muscle?
