PROVERB Interview - His first car, his current cars and his view of South African Car Culture - S1E6

Multi-award winning artist PROVERB joins us in the #CarCulture studio and chat about his car history, what he drives right now and his perspective on SA Car Culture and its influences.
PROVERB is a stalwart of South African music. Creating music for over two decades now, he is a highly renowned and respected rapper and became a household name through his involvement in popular TV show Idols SA and multiple radio stations.
While his real name is Tebogo Sidney Thabelo Thakiso, mention the name PROVERB to just about any South African and they'll know exactly who you're talking about.
In 2005 he released his first album, "Book of Proverb", followed closely by his second album in 2006, "Manuscript", and he hasn't stopped since.

I’m not a hater but what what he said about e gusheshe spinning that is very wrong..: you have understand the history of the gusheshe and spinning to understand why it is such a big car icon in the South African scene and where else in the world can you get that spinning culture

@@katleholenong6011 the spinning culture started in Australia 🇦🇺 someone saw it and brought it to South Africa 🇿🇦 South Africa adopted the spinning culture in one way or another they made it part of they’re far culture now every man who loves cars dreams of owning e gusheshe one day that is not influenced by Australia it is influenced by what the spinning culture has become in South Africa don’t be blinded by another man that you can’t think for your self and start calling people ignorant because what you just said if ignoring because if you look at the world of information you value so much you’ll realise that what made it great is freedom of speech
