I have bad eyesight so I keep losing things. It drives me up the wall always losing stuff. Well I want to tell you Jesus tells me where my stuff is. Sometimes he sends angels to bring things to me especially when I left something special somewhere and couldn’t get it myself.

I have learnt through my questioning in prayer to our Father in Heaven , that the Holy Spirit answers me 'per chance.' Great message, although the Origin of hi and hello.. I did check and I can’t find the origins you mentioned. Sounds good and I’m sure the reality of heaven and hell will come to mind from time to time when I say hi or hello, but that’s where the connection seems to end. Bit a good way of remembering these important truths nonetheless

Pastor JD is awesome but I don't understand why people change the commandment of "thou shalt not kill" to murder? Can someone give me a verse in the new testament where we have been given the authority to kill any human being under any circumstances?? I've been a student of God's holy word for 40 years and this notion of changing this particular commandment is getting greater with each passing generation to somehow justify self defense. I've never seen any such verse. I can however give verse after verse that says the opposite. Can any one way in on this? I'd love to hear from pastor JD on this If he gets it. Thanks.

Scott Eddy I wonder the same thing. We’ve had wars. There is killing. There is the whole eye for an eye. But I don’t get why it’s turned to murder. There’s got to be some kind of Hebrew word that was used that tells us what it truly means and I’m sure there are verses. I know there’s one verse about hatred and killing in your heart. I just cant find it right now. I’ll be curious to see what others say about it! Good question!

5aith I'm sorry but you're not making any sense. All throughout the word of God He let his own people be slaughtered because they wouldn't listen to Him. If your faith in God ends at the barrel of a gun for protection then that's your faith. The gun is more powerful than God. I feel sorry for you and I'll pray for you but that certainly is not the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. If I'm following a God that's no more greater than the projectile coming out the end of a gun I certainly am not going to follow that god.

Tinkerginamama Yes. I have studied the translation that they're trying to transfer or say has a different meaning from Kill to murder. There simply is no biblical basis for it. Jesus gave many indications that you are not to pick up any weapon to defend your own life or the shedding of blood to defend other people's life. " Remember it was said an eye for an eye verily I say unto you it is better for you to suffer." "Anyone who lives by the sword shall die by the sword." "There is a way known to man but the end of those ways is death." Jesus said take up your cross and follow me. There is absolutely no indication giving anyone the impression to pick up your sword or weapon and follow me. The very jist of following Jesus Christ is sacrificing your own life for God's will. There are no guarantees for life or death in this world. Only the next. There are no verses on self-defense. This business of carrying weapons into church, it would have been written synagogue or Temple in the Bible, to protect the people is not found anywhere in the New Testament. Yet many churches including JD's church is under armed guard during service. I'm just glad my faith doesn't end at the barrel of a gun. The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob is more powerful than any human weapon.

I want to expound on this changing of the commandant of thou shalt not kill. Jesus did not say take up your cross and also a weapon and follow me. I believe it's Matthew 10 that Jesus clearly states that if you love your family more than me you're not worthy of me. Why do you think it is that the Christians over in the Middle East are being slaughtered like pigs and they are not picking up a weapon to defend themselves? If you approached a person who had nothing to do with God or Jesus
