Hit the nail on the head She relies completely on HMC’s superbreak scaling, does no damage outside of it, needs Ruan Mei because sometimes she just can’t break the enemy fast enough + ridiculous high speed bosses like Hoolay. Firefly was meant to do superbreak damage multiple times after breaking enemies, but that just hurts her ceiling since it means there’s not as much benefit for advancing her like Boothill’s ridiculous nukes. Plus her Passive Talent is just completely useless lmao.

Firefly is essentially the definition of super high floor, but super low ceiling. High floor because gameplay is literally one button, basic understanding of the char, and fitting gear. Super low ceiling because her ult mechanics + teams are super rigid (no real way to increase, or even control her damage, get extra turns, use any useful generalist support. You're stuck to using her skill and praying it's enough). Comparatively to her, Boothill and Rappa have a lot of mechanics that are harder to leverage, but also elevate their ceiling (they both can benefit from AA, have more room for flexing in their teams, and most importantly have higher damage profile and ALSO can control when and how they use their damage.

​@@minhtranquoc01even then, same issues still apply, she technically has a third slot now with fugue, but fugue is barely even an improvement over hmc for her bcs her damage is all about high frequency superbreaks and not massive breaks from exo toughness which bh and rappa are going to love. Her best in slot is usually someone like Lingsha, who basically for all intents and purposes carries her in PF and AS, as well as leaning heavily on her damage to make up for what FF lacks (thus fire implant bot memes). Her mechanics will always make her the lowest ceiling DPS in the game, but high floor enough that she's broken for casuals (Also stupid proof, auto plays her as good as manual)
