Muslims mock christians who use butterknife translations and say blablabla... The KJV is Gods perfect undefiled word. Hebrews 4:12 its Sharper than any twoedged sword and cannot be broken. And the omnipotent God of creation reveals we have such to those with eyes of faith. The kjv is the 7th translation after Tyndale bible. "6 The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times." I choose to be as a Spartan and read with my brethren in sync, rather than as a persian in chaos and disorder and confusion not being able to read along in harmony... if u have a hard time understanding the kjv u can google the verse then John gill and he will help u understand. Spurgeon has many good things to say about John Gill...

The predecessor to the KJV, the Geneva Bible is also very good. In fact I prefer it because of the outstanding notes. They are almost identical translations. King James did not like the notes so he decided to do the KJV. But they are very much alike.

@@annabelleb.8096 i think the Geneva is a good bible unlike modeen bible who have openly gay people on the translation commitee and have the root of all evil the love of money as motivation for translating. I wouldnt say the geneva bible is satanic like modern versions. Yet the KJV is Gods perfect refined word and if u want notes just google John Gill and the passages your reading. We should be seeking peace and unity unless it comes to comprimising the truth of course. With the same bible we can all read along at church with no debates arguments and division. And like i said if u want notes to help and guide just read John Gills commentary on the verses, and see what Spurgeon had to say about Gill so u understand Gill is a man of God endued with wisdom from the creator

Google John Gill for notes, Spyrgeon has many good things to say about Gill. If there were only the options of the Geneva niv or esv id read the geneva... but i have the KJV and John Gill for help understanding... God bless
