Yes, and they still dare to deceptively say that there is no verse in the Bible that says that Jesus the Nazarene, who is a genuine man in His humanity ... is at the same time the great eternal Jehovah God in His divinity. As a believer and follower of "The Way" Yeshua is referred to as the 'angel' (or messenger) of the covenant. Angels are normaly creations of God. Why is Yeshua referred to in this scripture as an angel in the Greek translation?

the answer is simple. the word angel in Hebrew (malach) and Greek (angelos) simply means messenger. And Jesus is the Angel of the Father because he is the Father's Messenger who is sent to reveal the Father's message. This assertion by Sam is easily refuted: Firstly, he has no problem with jumping to Chronicles (that is, another context) to make a point, so I have no problem doing that in refutation. Secondly, he uses the first two passages to weave into one idea, and so I also should receive no difficulties for doing this in refutation. Thirdly, he asserts that the messenger being sent by God (that is, Elijah) is a human messenger BECAUSE messenger CAN BE human, but then he does not give any concession to "angel of the covenant". He also assumes that "angel of the covenant" means an angel that makes a covenant, and not an angel speaking about the covenant, which is what the voice crying in the wilderness does. In saying that the kingdom is at hand, and that God is coming to the people, he is indeed being a messenger of the covenant of God with Israel. So, even within just the passage, he's not using Occam's Razor or, as it is said, is using mental gymnastics to accomplish his goal. However, he forgets Jesus's explanation of the terms in the passage using his spiritual interpretation: 1) the temple is himself, since God dwells in him - John 2:21 - John 14:10 - 1 Corinthians 3:16 2) the way being prepared is the way for God to come to His temple, and what John was preaching is the baptism of repentance, which is the way God comes to His temple, Jesus, when Jesus undergoes the baptism of repentance. This, conversely, is the way for men to reach the Father. - Mark 1:4 - Mark 1:11 + Psalm 2:7 - John 1:51 - John 14:6 ha'Adon is used all of the other few places for God --- that is, the Father. It is also used the same here, as we can see that the Father comes to and inhabits Jesus. This is by means of the knowledge given to him (and there's no time to explain that here). The waw prefix in Hebrew (and kai is the same in Greek in this sense) can be "even", or it can be "and", in the sense that a general "and" statement can be used in appositional phrases and beginnings of stories and statements, such as in Genesis 1:2. As such, there's no necessity in making this be a separate concept. The messenger of the covenant is from ha'Adon, the Father, the one sending the covenant messenger, who Himself is said to be coming. Now, Sam recognizes that it's the Father sending, since he also believes that the Father sends Jesus. However, the same could be said for "messenger", as what I said in the third point at the beginning: we could just as easily use the common "messenger" to speak of the same one. After all, we know that the Father sends John the Baptist. (John 1:31-34) So, the Father sends John to prepare the way, and then God comes into Jesus, the temple. That makes sense, and it undermines this as a prooftext for Jesus supposedly being God. In case anyone wants to go back to the old "Jesus's is the temple of God the Son from birth", they can't use the Gospel accounts literally, since John is preparing the way for the coming, and he was not preparing any such way until he was an adult, long after the supposed incarnation.
