Hey nice video. But won't you end up getting a=b everytime if you replace x with a and b in any equation?

nope, not if it's not 1 to 1:) like say f(x) = |x|, if we we let f(a) = f(b), we get |a| = |b|, this doesn't mean a = b:) We could have like |-2| = |2|, but -2 is not the same as 2
