your method makes so much more sense, than having to untwist them either as you knit the new bit, or untwist all of them, then start knitting. Thank you!

These were Chiaogoo needles. With small stoppers from hiyahiya stoppers. Chiagoo have stable but flexible cables and pretty sharp needles with smooth joins. Hiyahiya cables are more flexible but with time they become less flexible and less manageable, but the sharp needles are the best. Joins are probably the smoothest out of all needles. And the third kind of metal needles i use are addi. - needle points on rockets are decent but not as sharp as two other but the cables are better than hiya hiyas. Joins are not smooth. Just giving you a few options of my other favorite ones 😬
