How would I tell what’s wrong with my speakers?? I can hear good sound until I turn it up till the bass kicks in then it gets kinda distorted but if I really turn it all the way up it’ll sound like farts or like they are fried, ik ky doors are the problem I hear it coming directly from there but idk if my dash speakers are the problem too
@lucca74577 ай бұрын
Did you manage to solve it?

@@lucca7457all my speakers where damaged and blown lmao, just got them replaced and upgraded and now I have a nice audio setup with subwoofers too. 10x better than before

Really helpful when replacing my door speaker thank you. The trim fasteners were definitely fiddly after 8 years, but it all went back together. If i were to do it again I'd go ahead and buy new fasteners.

For the factory tweeter wiring is their a wiring harness available so I can just plug it into the factory wiring? So that I don’t have to cut into the factory wiring?

What a royal pain in the ass, just to change a single blown speaker.

Hi do you need the aftermarket speaker mounting bracket? Why can't you just remove the factory speakers from their mounts and adhere the new ones into those? Just asking because I want to do this on my Mazda 6 2015, but am confused about the need for new brackets if you're installing the same size speakers as factory (6.5" if I'm correct).
@itsval35083 жыл бұрын
Are those 6,5inch?
@LawrencePangelinan2 жыл бұрын
The whole speaker is built as one unit to the “bracket” you’re talking about. Stock speaker is just one piece

This helped a hell of a lot. I was thinking about going to a shop to do this but now I can do it myself. I do have a problem though with my stock radio. It seems I have to really crank up the volume to hear it normally (to 30 plus) is that normal for these cars and should I get an amp or is there something I can do with the stock radio I don’t know about??

Can you use the factory tweeter wiring for the new tweeters and skip the crossover that came with the new speakers?
@ProvoBeastAudio4 жыл бұрын
As long as the speakers include their own passive crossovers built in, you can run without separate passive ones like we used.

What did you do in the end? I have my door panel open now and am confused.

I've done a door speaker install in a 2003 mazda 3 and to get the new speakers to fit i just cut the stock ones apart and reused the oem spacer/bracketry. That car didn't have tweeters and I had to solder wires to connect to the stock harness clips. How many people have a clue what this crossover business is all about? I do not. On a 2014 mazda6 with the bose system can't I just swap in new speakers?

Hiya.Did you pick up external amp RCA from inputs of stock amp?Disconnected from stock amp or do you use both amp's to run speakers independently?
@ProvoBeastAudio Жыл бұрын
We did not have the Bose trim. If you are adding a new multi-channel amplifier, you will need to bypass the Bose amp.

Hi, Bro. Do i need instal crossower for front tweeters? Or i just connect them to stock cable without crossower? (maybe crossower already instaled somewhere for front stock tweeters? Thanks!
@ProvoBeastAudio3 жыл бұрын
All depends on the tweeter you are installing. Check to see if the tweeter your are putting in has or requires a crossover.

I just bought the nvx set for front and rear. I'm installing a 4 channel 75w rms per channel amp too. Do I need to run thicker wires to the door speakers?

For just 75 watts RMS, factory wiring should be just fine.

You shouldn't have to replace speakers in a car that is only a few years old. What a joke, for the amount of money you pay purchasing a new automobile. Shame on Mazda!!!
