I didn't know about wagons until we were approaching security our first day. The security guy was kind enough to let us stash the wagon at the stroller and wheelchair rental, that day only. Frankly, we were all impressed that our youngest could spend the whole day in Disney and still walk 2-3 blocks to the hotel. We also didn't know about duct tape. My teenage son has a small roll of black duct tape with him all the time. I told him to leave it in the room, and when we got to security, it was confiscated.

Two things I liked that you hit on Chris: being kind to cast members and taking breaks with your family. I know with my kid we have to take a mid day break if we want our trip to go well. I'd rather not to get to go on as many rides rather than us be all cranky because our son got cranky because he was tired. And the cast members truly are amazing! They are human like us and I know I wouldn't want to help someone if they were yelling at me (especially for something I didn't do or have no control over).

A cast member overheard my hubby and I talking about the line being long at monsters Inc, it was pouring rain, my toddler was sleep in the stroller and my daughter wanted to ride it really bad, she walked up to us and gave us a special pass thaf allowed us to go into a different entrance to the ride and skip the line. It was very thoughtful ❤

I remember she called me and my family saying she got a table. My sister ran up to my mom and was so excited and yelled, “I saw provost park pass!! These were some great tips you covered Chris. One rule I'd like to point out is the mobile ordering food rather than standby. I was mobile ordering from Red Rose Tavern and something comes up where it won't let me proceed. I went up to a cast member and told them about it and they sent me into the standby queue. Personally, I like to order in the standby queue and it goes smoother. Another rule you hit was treating cast members with respect. They are the magic makers who make our day go by so smoothly. When I saw them last year, I was giving them my hugest love and support and they appreciated it so much.

I found the mobile order to be tricky last time I was there and realized you had to plan ahead a bit more. All of the return windows were at least a half hour later and so we just opted to stand in line and we were actually sitting down with our food faster than our return window would have even come. Not sure what was going on there, but I guess on crowded days even the mobile order is overwhelmed. Love your videos! You genie plus tricks made our trip awesome!

Yup, same thing happened to me a few weeks ago. Wanted to MO food, but return times were so far out and I was too hungry to wait that long! So I just got in line and had my food long before the first return time would have been! MO is good in theory, but parks r too crowded for it to work well. ☹️

Cast member's are the best. My mother and i had paid for the special viewing sections for Fantastmic, but we didn't realize that in those areas you had to sit on the ground, due to her knee and back problems this would have been impossible for her to get down and sit on the ground. We had a cast member go above and beyond for us and we were able to sit in the chairs in the VIP section. We were so beyond grateful to this cast member who worked so hard to help us. What could have been a very disappointing evening (and a waste of money), turned out to be a highlight of our trip.

We finished all the rides (minus Star Wars) on DAY 1 by following 101 rule of covering fantasyland immediately after rope drop. By the time it was 10AM, our fantasy land was finished. Then we started using Genie+ to book Tomorrowland rides. Two rides were non-operational and we booked them via Genie+ and got FastPasses that we used for Indiana Jones and Pirates. Do Do! I agree with all of your tips! For Mobile Ordering, I would add with that system, you can arrive at a location and get sat down ASAP, even if you still have time before your order is ready. As I go solo most often, I love being able to get a seat, then order and have a seat to eat. I love the notion of being kind to cast members. I've been enjoying Disney Parks for 55 years now, and I have the utmost respect and appreciation for the cast at the parks. I've even found that if I engage with them and ask them to notice my Son (this was years ago) or my Grand Daughter (most recently), they love it and go out of their way to make that moment memorable. I try to go out of my way to note the names of the cast that really make an effort and "report" them as rock stars at Guest Services. I appreciate your personal message in each of your vlogs. I honestly believe that can make a difference; someone somewhere needs to hear that. You're a "Rock Star" for doing it! Finally, have you done a "What's my fave thing to do while visiting the parks"? I love offering to take pictures for families so the entire family can get in the picture. Sometimes, I do this and find myself doing it for several families in a row, I don't mind it a bit, and I meet some amazing people. Keep up the excellent work! I think you're helping to make the world a better place!

The amount of gratitude I had for your sharing of knowledge was intense. I just knew that if I saw you I would have started crying. You truly meant a ton to me on this trip! A notable experience is when it came to navigating genie plus and telling my family all the secrets and tips they were surprised at how much I knew as it made the experience a spledid time. It was team effort, and for the few days we were their, we felt that we certainly maximized our times at this Magical Place. P.S. It was two of their birthdays and I treated them to the Tenya Stone Spa (Thank you Amanda). While I was outside waiting, from my memory I remembered that you mentioned something about an amazing Peanut Butter Treat... and to my surprise it was JUST DOWN THE HALL. I walked in and their it was! I enduldge on the Peanut Butter Blondie Treat and I wish I bought more to take back home. I have been craving it every single day! Interestingly enough we got rained out once each day, and it put a damper on getting to do all the experience that we wanted to do. Rides closed and we are caught in just waiting in a line till the cue started again. What are a few things you think we could have done?

One thing I love to do is see where each one of them is from (it’s on their name badge). If it’s somewhere I’ve never been, and there’s time, I ask them what it’s like there. It’s a good way to let them know that they’re more than just an employee of the park to me.

When I see a cast member who is looking down/haggard/peeved/upset I always just say, "hey, are you okay?" Just low-key, between the two of us. They always say they are, of course. And I sincerely thank them for all they do. Really, just treating them like a real person with real feelings doesn't happen very often in their day, sadly. Thanks for making that the number 1 thing on the list

bought brand new shoes right before my last trip. got down there and realized what i did and thought i was going to regret it. turned out, it was fine, no blisters, and they felt like shoes i'd worn for years while also having the extra cushion of new shoes. adidas purchased at costco. who knew? i think shoe manufacturers, specifically adidas/nike/rebok have developed their products to no longer having a break-in period. anyway, just my most recent experience and opinion. love your videos!

Guilty of not taking a rest! I have specifically built in rest times for our next trip because our last visit my kids were asleep in the stroller right after dinner each night!

Excellent advice on all accounts. One of the cast members I always try talk to and praise are the ones that empty the trash cans and those that sweep the walks and streets. I always tell them they have the hardest jobs and the job that most people experience , a clean, clean environment, this included the ones cleaning the restrooms. They are fantastic.

Hey Chris, I like to give nick names to many of the attractions in the park. For example, I call the Matterhorn Bobsleds “The Dog”. Because it’s such a Ruff ride. 😂😂😂🤦🏼

I was there to celebrate my friends college graduation and we asked a cast member if we could sit on the curb to watch the parade near It's a Small World, he took us to VIP seating 🥺❤ it was such a magical and kind experience that he didn't have to do for us!

We were just there weeks ago and didn’t realize we could only use genie plus once a day on a particular ride.

Completely agree with number one! It goes with all jobs where there is a lot of customer facing with thousands of people a day. Cast members have made my day at Disney PERFECT so many times! We owe so much to them for keeping the parks running smoothly. Thank you for your informative light hearted wonderful videos!
