Hey Chris! Just wanted to give you a THANK YOU. My son Asher saw you while you were filming this video and got so excited! He had my mom (his grandma who he was with) text me to let me know. Then he was even more excited when he saw you AGAIN in the airport and you ended up on the same flight too! Thank you so much for taking time to talk to him. He hasn't stopped talking about how cool that was for him! I appreciate the time you took with him, and all the work you put into your videos. My kids and I love watching your videos as a family. Thanks again!

I grew up in the shadow of Disneyland. My dad was a Disneyland and Disney World artist for 20 years . I worked there as a ride operator and as an entertainer in my teens and early 20 when Walt was still alive, and severe codes on hair length were in place. My band was scheduled to play the Tomorrowland stage, but I was told that I had to get a haircut before we would be able to perform. Luckily my mom was a stylist, so I went home and had her give me a quick trim. Now I see guys with long hair all over the park. Oh, the dress code was also for guests, back in the day 😂

One slight change, when Disneyland opened there were only A through D tickets. The first E tickets were for the Matterhorn, Submarine, and the Monorail, which was just inside the park. That was in 1959.

Mr. Toad's Wild Ride. Bonus points if you have film or photos of the original hell. I've been looking for awhile, and so far all I can find online is the entrance before and the exit after. As I recall as a kid, there were flames, it was warm (but not too warm) and there were a couple of dozen little devils bobbing up and down while they laughed. If they ever update Toad's, that would be one of the few changes I'd want to see, is to increase the jumping little devils back to two dozen. That would be hilarious. Anyway, you can find film and photos of all the rest of the ride, but for some reason the original hell was kept secret.

I had totally forgotten about the mushroom ticket booth until you mentioned it. We bought tickets there every trip when I was a kid. The Fantasyland refurbishment happened during my "Great Disney Drought." I was there in 1975 for the 20th, but didn't get to go again until 1987. A dozen sad years.

I am glad you decided to revisit Alice In Wonderland. The only fact I ever knew was that they decided to build it on top of Mr. Toad's which is just incredible. Everything else including the walk through idea is all brand new to me. I remember my first ride on Alice when that explosion thing was a big thing. My favorite time of day to do this ride is the nighttime. I love the vibes that it creates during that time. I would love to see a Secrets Revealed video on Casey Jr., Storybook Land, and Jungle Cruise.

Was not the only dark ride built from 1955 to 1983. At least 2 that i know of built in that time frame. Mr Toads wild ride and Peter Pan. Both were refurbished in 1983. Love Disneyland . I was Little Lord Fauntleroy on a float in a Disneyland main street parade in 1962. I still have a thank you letter i received for participating. One time When i was 13 i walked 10 miles to Disneyland just to walk around the perimeter and watch the monorail and listen to the sounds of the park. Watching your videos brings back so many joyous memories. Thank you.

Technically, Cheshire Cat is also on the ride 4 times. 3 times within the ride proper, and one on the plaque as you exit the ride building at the end. So, it's a Cheshire Cat and White Rabbit ride. =) Also, an idea for a future video is a Secrets Revealed about the plants/grounds around Disneyland. Some of the trees have been there since opening and other plants have some cool history. It used to be that all plants in Tomorrowland were all edible (artichokes, peppers, lettuce, etc.). The Dominguez palm, the Matterhorn tree, old Pirates trees. I'm sure there's some fascinating history there!

Speaking of "a-e" tickets, when my dad got an electric wheelchair, he would sometimes do a fun thing for all us little kids in the family where we would sit on his lap and he would hold us in while spinning the chair around in a circle as fast as possible. He called it his "e ticket" ride. All the kids loved it and we all got sad when we got too big.

Another awesome video! These are my favorite types of videos. Just a couple of items. There is a caterpillar that can have the back door opened, in order to assist those who need to slide onto the ride. Regarding the White Rabbit vs Alice's ride, I had been told that we were taking the place of Alice as we ride along. So, it is Alice's ride. You hear her voice telling her adventures. 😊
