Great instructional video but the one thing I was really hoping for never showed up! If I do all of my editing in this program, can I then go back and copy and paste it to a Word document? Right now my paper is in Open Office. Do I just create a new document once I'm fully edited? Thank you!

Please know that when using ProWritingAid's Wed Editor or Desktop App uploading, rather than copying and pasting, documents is your best bet. This maintains your formatting and allows ProWritingAid to "read" your text more easily so as to provide suggestions. Unfortunately, ProWritingAid are unable to guarantee what happens to a document or text when it is copied-and-pasted, rather than uploaded, into ProWritingAid. The only way to ensure proper usage of ProWritingAid is through uploading and exporting your documents with the Web Editor or uploading and saving (which saves your changes to your original document) with the Desktop App. Let me know if this is helpful

Yes. I do this all the time. The online editor is problematic with large numbers of words, such as a finished draft. I'm not sure if this is a RAM issue on the writing platform, or the cloud/Prowritingaid. I paste in chapters, edit them, and past them back. Word, Google Docs, anything I would imagine.

How do I export a document to a folder?

It would be lovely if "export," or for that matter, the MENU option, **actually showed up in my installation.** (the standalone desktop version, not the inside-Word version or the Browser version.) It doesn't. I have a LIFETIME PWA subscription, so as far as I know, it's not money. So far, despite 5 videos and untold "help" pages, I have yet to be able to export one single report. It's absolutely infuriating. Not your fault, clearly but...beyond infuriating.
