I love KZbin as a website, but as a company they are the absolute worst. If your videos are not monetized not only do you make no money, but neither does KZbin so they don't care about you. If you get a million subscribers they won't give a shit unless your videos make them money through ads. Also if your videos are not monetized KZbin will make it difficult for your videos to get noticed. In other words your videos won't pop up in the recommend videos list. So the only way for your videos to get noticed is if you are already known (Kampy was known on The Halo Forum) or if someone who already knows you and has a view count themselves tells people about you (In Kampy' s case again: Faze; a popular monetized channel with popular monetized individuals within it). In the case of people like Proximitty, UberNick, iSpiteful, LukeTheNotable, Pingy and others like them. They got noticed because Halo five is a game that brought in A LOT of new players who eventually get curious and wanted to watch some cool content on the internet and those are the youtubers who show up. People already making good, consistent content for halo five. And I'll just note it's also because they make good, great content even. But it's for that reason of Halo 5 being popular that people who make Reach content like Emnion won't get noticed as easily or people who make Halo 2 content like Hustla or Hyena won't get noticed. They only get noticed if the people who already know them and have a strong following tell others about them or if people like me who love all Halo content and jump around from game to game stumbles upon them. Moral of the story: MONETIZE YOUR VIDEOS.
