thanks for all your videos regarding drill guides/stands. on other channels people just praise every shitty and diy stands. i noticed myself after buying a copuple that the play on all of them was horrific. in our times made in germany or switzerland or japan doesn't mean crap, it's all made in china and packaged locally. otherwise how we are not able to buy a drill stand that drills 90 degrees holes, but managed to go into space...

Ye, I agree. I mean the main point of a drill stand is to drill 90 degree. But that is where the most are lacking. Lets forget if its cheap or not, why isnt it the main priority? There are german brands that offer table top drilling machines with precision but for industrial purpose with high costs. But there are just a few offers/possibilities for the middle ground.

I will use my Bosch 21-2 RCT drill with this stand for drilling my woodworking bench dog holes, hope it will works fine… By the way yoyr channel is great for technical explanations, thanks for share…💐

Have you thought about centering the drill using a solid rod locked into the drill that slides into a block clamped to the table? You then slide the rod (and drill) into the block, clamp down the stand around the drill and hopefully you have a rather straight setup! Also: What kind of tolerances are we talking about with a drill stand like this?

Thanks for the detailed review! What coordinate table are you using on this setup?

Its an coordinate table from paulimot. Measurements 310x90mm. Its ok, but the surface of the table isnt completely flat. Also the finish isnt good, its hard to get t-nuts into the slots, because of how uneven the cover on the sides is. For drilling and light milling its ok.
