Great video. But if I could offer one suggestion it would be that you’re using your step clamps incorrectly. If you stand your triangular piece up vertically, you’ll see the teeth of your clamping bar will full engage and more positively lock into the triangular ramp. That’s how they’re machined to work together. Hope that helps and thanks for the video. 👍

1:14 can you tell me about this? On this video there is a huge wriggle (free play) for 2nd axis. Do You have the same ?! it is unacceptable for any kind of precise work

@@miladinseratlic5984 On my MF70 there is little play on the top axis of the XY-table. I've so far made only small test part in the middle of the table and haven't yet investigated if there's something that can be done for that play.

I'm pretty happy with the result. The advantage of this device is that you can milling soft metals like aluminium and brass. But its a small machine for very small parts. About cheap cnc Router, I can not compare to a machine I do not know. Thank you for watching 👍

Thank you very much Bob! You need to use arduino card for cnc machine. You have alot of information on KZbin about how to setup and control the motor. After that you need to design with fusion 360 and to use cam option to convert the cad files to Gcode. With the Gcode you start create cnc parts. Good luck!

When I check the Amazon link provided there is a NEMA 17 version and a NEMA 23 Version, Not sure which one I need but as you point out NEMA 17 Steppers I suspect I need the NEMA 17 kit or should I get NEMA 23 steppers? @@YooProjects thank you. But I see some kits come with the nema 23 stepper motors but some articles I've read up that the nema 17 motor are equaly as good. I work eith lathes and bench drills ect but just bought myself the proxxen mf70 so I appsalutly nothing about stepper motor specs ect. The kits that they sell on amazon are almost as expensive as the cnc it's self so I'm looking into trying to find the parts individually to see if I can cut the costs. Any info you could suggest would be amazing. Kind regards
