He couldn't see the sights while touring, he's traveled the world but only saw the venue and hotel room, which he rents the whole floor out with security to keep people from tracking him down to his room. But hey, he's got a big bank account and a mansion he's forced to isolate himself in and everyone knows his name... Not to mention all the leaches and vultures, never able to tell who likes you for you and has your back or just a using ass kisser treating him as the cash cow or a way to make it in the industry. You have a very narrow and shallow view point of the world and what happiness is. The culture of consume consume consume, it's, well...consumed you.

I feel like Relapse has more emotion than Recovery, not less. At the very least, it's very different emotion. Relapse has so much intense feeling in it. It's not as obvious, but there's a lot of feeling that you can feel behind the jokes. That entire album feels like it's coming from a man with recent trauma (because it was).
