Knizia is such a master. I've been eyeing Blue Moon City for a while, and this vid puts it on my more immediate "to get" list. I bought a copy of Blue Moon Legends last year, and it's such a unique way to do a card battler, between the "tug of war" scoring and having to be so, so conscious of the fact that you'll have to make use of your entire deck in most games, so making sure you're picking your battles carefully the whole time is key. It's all so good!

Also, how did you find a reasonably priced copy? They are really expensive atm even used.

@@CWunderA Dumb luck, honestly. I had been checking ebay and BGG once a month whenever I thought of it, and one day there was a copy for sale for around $55 and I just bought it. Luckily, there is a talk of a reprint or something similar in the future, so it won't be expensive for much longer!

Looks gorgeous, but I'm surprised that this edition doesn't fix the colorblindness problem of earlier editions. As you noted, brown and black look similar but so do red and green.

Why do they not have the red and green cards move the red and green dragons respectively. Seems kinda unintuitive

Totally. This game cames form another one called Blue Moon (or Blue Moon legends nowadays) wich has a lore in wich the dragons are tied to different people. In that game, the cards have not colors, so, in terms of consistency with the theme this happened, but yes: 'a red card attracts a green dragon and a blck card attracts a red dragon' is a sentence wich makes your brain bleed
