@@gavinchristiantoro Hey Gavin, I'm not really an expert on pickups but I'll give it a shot ! lol. When I first put the alpha/omega set in the km7 I wasn't sure if I liked 'em. it took a couple days before I got a good feel for their response. I still prefer the Nazgul over the Omega mainly because the attack the Nazgul has is just perfect. But the Omega has grown on me and I would highly recommend it ! Especially for technical players. The Alpha seemed muddier than the sentient at first and I didn't like it at all . So I just started messing around with the eq and rolled the bass back a bit realized it has a fatter sound. Once I took care of the mud it started to shine. It has rich characteristic that's hard to describe. I don't really play leads much so I cant speak on that aspect, but once I started using it in split position for ambient and melodic stuff I fell in love. It can be very chimey, clear and articulate. I'm sure it sounds great for leads as well, I just can't speak on that myself. The only thing is, they are pricey. I paid $299 for the set. Hopefully that helps a bit. Cheers !

Fun fact - if you order an SE while being based in the US, it will go through a set up in Maryland. If, like me, you are based OUS, then good luck. I've had a PRS SE SVN bought through thomann, a friend of mine bought the SE custom 24 we both had issues. The main problem being issues with electronics/wiring, poorly cut nut, frets were not rounded and the guitar was razor sharp, loose screws etc. So it's a wildly different experience when it goes straight out of an indonesian factory compared to a proper QC in the US.
